Accident at Work
Background - Having slipped in a commercial kitchen the clients claim was referred to her Union and then to the Union Solicitors. Told she had no claim and verified by a Barristers opinion the client was signposted to us by a local advice agency. Clearly with a viable claim we took over the conduct. Liability was then swiftly resolved and the dispute on value was resolved when we issued proceedings . The claim was then settled on fair terms.

Background – Injured by a third party emerging across a junction the client sustained whiplash injury. Referred to us by his Solicitors whom do not specialise in personal injury compensation claims we gladly assisted. The claim was settled in less than 12 months

Accident in Public Place
Background – Attending a local supermarket the client was injured quite severely when cans fell upon him from a high shelf. His solicitors were getting nowhere and he was recommended to come to us. We took on the claim. It was denied that cans were stacked as alleged and members of the team visited the store regularly to secure evidence of the fact that they were. The insurers were presented with the evidence and the claim swiftly concluded to the clients satisfaction.

Child Accident Claim
Background – The client’s car was hit from the rear. The car deformed and her 5 year old daughter in the rear narrowly avoided significant leg injury. Her son in the front of the car also was badly shaken. The car behind caught fire and later a passenger in that car died from her injuries

Background – Hit from the rear her car was written off. To make it more complicated the client was to move to New Zealand. Accident in a Public Place
Background – Whilst at a shop in Huddersfield the client was injured when a part of the shop fittings fell severing the nerve in his hand. 8 months elapsed before we were engaged as a result of a recommendation. In this time sadly the shop had closed and one of the owners died. A complicated detective investigation began and we managed to locate the liability insurers for the shop. The insurers claimed our client to be at fault in part for his injury. We robustly defended his corner and the claim was settled via negotiation without deduction for contributory negligence.

Road Traffic Accident
Background – Driving along the A18 in his motor car a third party driver emerged from a side road into the path of the clients car. The third party insurer attempted to divert the client to the Solicitors they wanted. Luckily the client came to us and we stopped the insurers running the clients case.
